Committee Members Needed
The league is in need of new members who are willing to participate in any fashion possible. The league is in the process of developing a committee style structure to aid in distributing the workload over as many people as possible to minimize an overwhelming burden from being placed on a small number of members. The committees will be structured as follow:
Registration Committee - Responsible for collection of registration forms and fee. The committee will collaborate with the treasurer for the deposit of all fees collected and develop a master database of all participants for a given sport utilizing MS-EXCEL. This committee should consist of at least two members one of which will be the Coordinator of the given sport.
Concessions Committee - Responsible for the operation of the concessions. This committee should consist of at least 3 members each with specific responsibilities i.e. handling finances via coordination with the treasurer, cleaning & set-up of the WACYL Shack, shopping for supplies and collaborating with the Coordinator to complete the Parent/Volunteer sign-up sheet. Equipment & Fields Committee - Responsible for the maintenance of fields and equipment for a given sport. This committee should consist of at least 5 members that will collaborate with the Coordinator to ensure the fields and equipment are ready to start the season and are maintained over the course of the season. Committee member roles may included inspection of equipment, assembly of team equipment bags, initial field set-up and painting of fields throughout the course of the season.
Fundraising Committee - Responsible for the coordinating the league's fundraising activities. This committee should consist of at least 3 members that will collaborate with the league officers and trustees to develop profitable fundraising activities.
