WACYL TEE-BALL / COACH PITCH / baseball!

Tee-Ball:

• Clinic-Style Division, (with the Hope of Playing Games), open to grades Pre-K & Kindergarten **Must turn 4 years of age before April 1st**.

  • • Positively NO metal spikes are permitted. If players are wearing cleats they must be rubber or plastic (Cleats are not mandatory) No boots, sandals, flip-flops, etc.

    • Players must supply their own Glove. Supplying their own Bats and Helmets are recommended but are not mandatory as WACYL has spares.

Coach Pitch:

• Open to grades...

• This division will be introducing a standard Coach Pitch league where coaches & players pitch to the opposing team.

  • Players will learn how to properly play the game with pitch counts. We will also be utilizing a catcher as well in this division.

  • Positively NO metal spikes are permitted. If players are wearing cleats they must be rubber or plastic (Cleats are not mandatory) No boots, sandals, flip-flops, etc.

  • Players must supply their own Glove. Supplying their own Bats and Helmets are recommended but are not mandatory as WACYL has spares.

Competitive Play Baseball:

• Open to ages...

• This division will be played with little league rules.

  • Pitchers & Catchers

  • True Pitch Counts

  • 6 Inning games (Run Rules TBD)

  • Rules & Gameplay for this division are still being talked about.

Our season will run April through June, tentatively; exact dates will be released when finalized. Community volunteers are essential to our programs and will be needed. Please consider if you are willing to volunteer as a Coach or Assistant Coach for any of these divisions. No experience is necessary.
