WACYL Soccer
WACYL Soccer is a co-ed recreational program, available to children ages 4 through 8th grade, which focuses on skill development, team building and a healthy competitive spirit. Throughout the season players will receive further instruction from possible outside clinicians as well as from their individual coaches. Our soccer season runs mid-August through late October, tentatively. Exact dates will be released once finalized. Practice and Game schedules are based on volunteer availability, therefore are created after registration is complete.

WACYL runs five co-ed divisions grouped by age and skill.
U-6
Open to grades Pre-K and Kindergarten
Focuses on Individual Development
Clinic style play (Obstacles mixed with Game Play)
Size 3 Ball and Shin Guards are Required
U-8
Open to grades 1st and 2nd
Focuses on Individual Development
League play
Shin Guards & Size 3 Ball are Required
Soccer Cleats are Requested (No Metal)
U-10
Open to grades 3rd and 4th
Focuses to Team Development

Shin Guards & Size 4 Ball are Required
Soccer Cleats are Requested (No Metal)
U-12
Open to grades 5th and 6th
Focuses on Team Development

Local Recreation Travel League
Inter-county league play (Atlantic and Cape May counties)

U-6, U-8, U-10 & U12 - Registration is $80 per player, includes team snacks from our concession stand after each game.
U-14 - Registration is $70 per player, includes team snacks from our concession stand after each home game.
Coaches Needed
Community volunteers are essential to our programs and will be needed. Please consider if you are willing to volunteer as a Coach or Assistant Coach for any of these divisions. No experience is necessary. WACYL will provide NYSCA Training and Certification. Background Check required. Please visit our Coaching Requirements tab for more information. Thank you!

Communicating In-Season - Mandatory App Download
Once rosters are completed, WACYL uses the Game Changer Team Manager App for communication between coaches and parents during sports seasons. Below is the page that links both IOS or Android. This can also be accessed through Blue Sombrero in the Team Central - Team Directory section. You can sign in using your Sports Connect credentials.
Download the App
Once the App is open select the parent/player option
Click on the + button and import team using Sports Connect.
It should now show your entire team. You can message or email your team through the App. All messages will show in a group thread or you can message individually if needed.

Sponsors Needed
WACYL welcomes local businesses to sponsor our teams each season. One sponsor is needed per team. This presents an awesome opportunity to support our local community, ensure funding to provide these programs to our youth as well as advertise your business through our programs.
